The Custom made turkey Box Call
Hunter Grade Calls
Box Calls are made from a variety of hardwoods:
Mahogany, Cherry, Walnut, Poplar and others.
All calls are made from a solid block of wood, [no gluing]
Fastened with an elastic strap to keep the call from making a sound
at the wrong time.
I have added some Inlayed hunter grade calls.
For those who like a raspier yelp the Purpleheart paddles are a good choice.

A California Rio
Beginner or veteran these calls are easy to use. Just let
the weight of the paddle slide across the lip of the box for nice
clear yelps.
BOX CALL CARE
There are two items you will need for your new Box Call:
Box Call chalk [greaseless]
Piece of 150/180 grit sandpaper
Chalk paddle as needed. If sanding is necessary sand paddle lightly.
Avoid sanding on the lip of the box.
Avoid getting water on the striking surface.
Tip!
On rainy days place the call in a plastic bag to protect it.
Note: The Call works fine this way.
